Free · up to 50 pages · back in 48 hours
See it on your own documents: a free index of up to 50 pages, back in 48 hours.
The fairest test of this work is a production you know. Send up to 50 pages. You get them back as a cited index and up to 10 first findings, run the same way as a paid matter.
What you get
- The index. One row per document: what it is, the institution and account ending, the period it covers, the pages, and a SHA-256 hash.
- Coverage. For each account, the months present, the months missing, and any opening balance that doesn't match the prior closing.
- First findings. Up to 10, each with amount, date, parties, document, page and line, a flag and my reviewer note. I read every one against its page before it goes back.
- A one-page note on what the 50 pages show and what a full sweep would add.
The rules
- Up to 50 pages of financial records: bank, brokerage or card statements, ledgers, check registers or check images.
- Until further notice, the free index is only for pages from a matter with a protective order or NDA that you can bind a vendor under. I sign the order's vendor acknowledgment first, before anything moves.
- Nothing privileged comes in without one of those in place. Leave out your own work product and client communications; the index doesn't need them.
- Pages travel by your own secure file share or an encrypted link I send. Never by email attachment.
- 48 hours, counted on business days, from the later of the pages arriving and the acknowledgment being signed. Pages in at 3 PM Friday are back by 3 PM Tuesday.
- The pages are destroyed five business days after delivery, with a signed certificate, unless you start a matter and ask me to keep them. Then they keep their IDs in the full workbook.
The limits, plainly
Fifty pages is a sample, not an analysis of your matter. The findings are observations for your review, not conclusions, and not legal or accounting advice. There's no guarantee, walkthrough or corrections window with the free index, though I'm glad to take 10 minutes to explain it. One per firm, four a month.
